Georgetown Public Art

I received this mural commission in July 2018 to design and paint eight nine-foot columns in an open-air plaza at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Over eight days, my assistant Morgan and I started at 7 AM to avoid the July heat. First we primed and then painted the columns, taping and painting one per day. A brief write-up of the design appears here on page 5.

Check out the before shot and a few color notes and sketches.  If you live in the area, the mural is outdoors in a public plaza at Georgetown University Hospital.  It is up one flight of outdoor stairs above the Emergency Room entrance on Reservoir Road.
