New Gyotaku Classes at the Smithsonian

A new advanced class, Gyotaku Hawaiian Style,  is coming together for late fall 2020.  If you’ve taken the first class, come on back and learn how to add color to your prints!

The beginning Gyotaku: the Art of the Japanese Fishprint class, and Nature Monoprints on Fabric will will also return in late fall 2020.

Check back or sign up with email here on the blog to be notified when I have the late fall dates.

Zoom is the platform for all of these classes, and I’m thrilled that Smithsonian Studio Arts is ready to give them a try. And, the online platform gives those of you who live elsewhere a chance to sign up for the class!

I’ve really missed teaching, and the Zoom classes will give us all a moment to connect, make art, and be distracted from our worries during this tough time.

Peace and be well.
